Shona is a fully trained Colour Me Beautiful consultant and offers consultations in her Wandsworth studio. By looking at the way your skin tone, eye and hair colour work together she will show you how to wear the colours in your personal palette and ways in which you can use them to complement your colouring. You'll also receive a full make-up makeover in colours that complement your skin tone and features, along with a list of suitable make-up shades, so you'll leave looking great! You will also take with you, a wallet containing 42 fabric swatches with unique tips on how to wear your colours and how to use the wallet when shopping.

Style Consultation

Shona is also a fully trained image consultant. After a discussion to establish your lifestyle and your style “personality”, we'll discuss your body shape and you will learn how to make the most of your good features and how to take attention away from the bits you don't like. Advice will cover tailoring, clothing styles, fabrics, patterns and accessories, as well as places to shop. Shona will note of all the tips and advice you receive in your Style Workbook so you'll leave your consultation with the confidence of knowing what your personal style is and how to choose the right clothes for you.

Colour & Style Consultation

Wardrobe Weeding
Duration: Minimum 2 hours Cost £70/hour

This service works best when followed by a colour and style consultation as then we can put what we have learnt into practice – though it can be taken as a stand-alone service. We will visit you at home and firstly establish what you need from your wardrobe before going systematically through every woman's inner sanctum – resulting in four piles on the bed: items to keep; to be altered; to be sold; and to go to charity.

The items to keep are put back and the others are taken away. Alterations are carried out quickly and expertly. Items to be sold go to the online dress agency, ShonaMac.com, giving back 50% of what the items sell for. So the service can more than pay for itself – it can help finance a new wardrobe. ShonaMac.com is currently one of Vogue's Top 100 shops with 15,000 visitors a day. Any remaining items will be taken away and donated to local charities.

The final stage is putting outfits together (the point where a lot of clients have a mental block) and plugging the gaps by giving you a shopping list to ‘complete' the wardrobe.

Personal Shopping

Time is the one thing that none of us have enough of – and shopping for many of us becomes a chore rather than the relaxed, pleasurable activity it used to be. And the choice available these days is bewildering for even the most seasoned shopper.

Armed with advice on what to look for in terms of styles, shapes and colour – shopping becomes a less ‘random' operation – particularly if you have a ShonaMac shopping list.

We can also help with shopping for a special outfit for a special event and can advise on hair and make-up if required.

We charge for personal shopping by the hour and so it is immaterial to us whether your budget stretches to designer boutiques or we are limited to the High Street. We can even trawl vintage shops and markets for a really unique shopping experience.
